Topshop Wishlist

Dress- £46.00
Beauty Blender- £6.00
Shoes- £48.00
Watch- £19.00
Tangle Teezer- £12.25

Hello everyone!
I haven't really had time to oggle over the contents of Topshop this year because I have been so busy with coursework and working in general. However, I have just been browsing the site and have found a few items which I need  to purchase!

Firstly is this dress. These type of dresses are the dresses that I go for, and I have fallen in love with it. Because I have curves and lumps and bumps, this style of dress covers all of the bits I don't want people to see. I love the colours and the style, and I can see myself wearing this to a party in the spring.

Next is the beauty blender. I am a total sucker for all things beauty related, and always finding more to add to my ever growing collection. I own the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply my makeup, but I have always wanted to try a beauty blender to apply my makeup.

These shoes are adorable. I don't usually go for shoes with such a thin heel, but I am tempted to try and pull off this type of shoe. I have an 18th party of my own coming up, and obviously I want to find the perfect outfit, so I think I will try and pull these off.

I don't own a nice watch. I found this cute watch on the website, and I think that it is a nice little accessory for when I go out.

Sometimes I Like A Little Alone Time...

I can guarantee that it isn't just me who enjoys spending a little time by myself every now and then. Everyone needs to have a little time catching up with their lives, especially if they have work everyday, have studies to do or just generally have a very busy life. Friday night is usually the night I like to take up on this opportunity, as I have work both Saturday and Sunday.

Firstly I like to make a cup of tea. My brother bought me this mug for christmas and I love it so much. I prefer to drink tea of a night because I never get to sleep when drinking coffee before bed. I also believe that tea settles my brain and helps me to relax.

Secondly, I like to catch up with my social networking, blogging and other general things on my laptop. This is because I am busy doing my A-Level studies and by the time I get home I am extremely tired. So along with my cuppa', I like to be nosey and see what everyone else is getting on with!

Another thing I like to do when relaxing is painting my nails. I never really paint my nails anymore because they always chip throughout the week, and I can't face having chipped nails. I seriously need to invest in some shellac, so I won't have chipped nails until they need doing again! I used to wear acrylics the majority of the time, but because my nail beds are sensitive and very thin anyway, they didn't benefit my nails at all, and when I took the acrylics off my nails appeared to be sore, cracked and snapped straight away. I love to use the Sally Hansen 'Cuticle Massage Cream', as this massages my cuticles and nail beds and smells just like apricot yoghurt. It also creates a smooth base for when I apply my base coat, so my actual nail varnish goes on a lot better.

I have taken to filing my nails near enough every night, because I have found that my nails grow faster when I do this. I want to try and get my nails to a length that I like naturally, because like I said, acrylics do not benefit my nails at all. I am loving bright colours at the moment, and I am also experience 'mattifying' them. I love the matte look, and I do find that it works with most colours.

So there is my idea of a relaxing night. It may not seem relaxing, as some people just like to lay in bed and not move for the whole day, and don't get me wrong, I do love doing this, but I also like to be a little productive in the process.

What do you do to relax?

February Wishlist

Hi guys, I hope you are all well and this week has been a good one so far!

Seeing as though I haven't posted for a while, I thought that I would show you guys my February wish list and what it entails. I am always wanting new things, even though I should be saving for university, but hey, new things are pretty!

So, first thing's first, my beautiful dream ball dress. My ball is coming up, and even though it isn't until May, I don't want to be rushing around trying to buy a ball dress or even finding that everyone else has the one that I want. That always happens. I want to try and purchase my ball dress this month so that I know I have it, and if any changes need making then I can get them done before the ball itself. The dress is £87.00 which I don't think is too bad for something like this, and because I am going for more of a 'vintage' style with my dress and hair etc. I find that this is perfect.

Second is the Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer. I am a fan of primers whether it being for my eyes or my face. I am currently using the MUA primer, and because I use it so often I feel as though I can justify spending a little more on something heavier. My foundation is known to slip and slide throughout the day, so I am searching for a trustworthy primer which will keep everything in place!

I believe that everyone has heard of Tanya Burr. Whether this be through her blog, YouTube channel or in magazines. Tanya is a real inspiration of mine, as what she has been able to achieve is amazing. The recent line of nail varnishes and lip glosses that she has brought out are absolutely beautiful, but the one that has caught my eye the most is 'Penguin Chic'. This may seem boring, but I am partial to a nude nail colour, and I find them extremely pretty. I like to use a matte top coat sometimes to add something extra to my nails, and I think that this colour will look gorgeous on its own or even using a matte finish.

I couldn't find a picture of an actual provisional license, and yes, I realise that I have spelt it wrong in the picture (embarrassing) haha. I am nearly 18 years old and I have no form of I.D. Zero. Zilch. Even my trusty passport has run out and left me hopeless. I need a form of I.D because simply, I am 18 soon and also I need to begin to apply for my student finance. Most of my friends have begun learning to drive, and I have always put this topic off. Simply because I have always found something else to focus on, or because I couldn't justify spending that much money on a provisional, lessons, car etc. Hopefully though, if I do get my act together and purchase this, this month then this will push me towards maybe enquiring about driving lessons, and finding something more useful to spend my money on.

What have you guys got lined up for purchasing this month? Anything caught your eye?

LUSH | Magic Wand

Hello everyone! I hope that you are all well.

I have been a lover of the Magic Wand from LUSH recently, and because I think it is so amazing, I think you will love it too!

I am a huge fan of a good, relaxing, gorgeous smelling bath which is why I adore this product. The only thing I find about using bath products is that sometimes they can only be used once, but not this product! It is re-usable!

You just wave the wand into your bath whilst the tap is running and wait for the bath to turn a glorious pink colour and for the bubbles to appear.

The scent is delicious. It reminds me of walking into one of those old-fashioned sweet shops, and being surrounded by all of the different sweets around me. The scent also lasts on the skin which makes this product even better, and moisturises whilst you relax!

When you have placed the wand into the bath and gained bubbles and pink water from swishing' it around, just place it back in it's packet and put it away for the next time you would like to experience a princess bath, because seriously, that is what it feels like!

(Also, this is one of my photo's! I have a camera!)

What are your favourite bath time products?

Courageous Words

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a great weekend and done amazing things.

Seeing as though today is monday, and lets face it, it isn't everyones favourite day, I thought I would do a motivational post as I haven't done one of these in a while.

Image from Pinterest and can be found HERE

I have recently been seeing a lovely lady who has been helping me get to grips with my past, my future and my anxiety. She has truly helped me in so many ways, she has definitely helped me to see life in a whole new light.

One thing she taught me to focus on is the word 'yet'. I know you may be sat there thinking "yet? what has that got to do with looking in to the future?", but trust me, it really does mean something.

If you find that your path into the future is foggy, always think that your not there yet. Never think that you won't get there, because you will, you just haven't got there yet. Yet means that you will get there one day, just not quite now.

When I have been thinking that I will never achieve something, instead of thinking that it will never happen, I have been thinking that it hasn't happened yet. This is because I believe that it will happen, but it will happen when the time is right, and when I deserve it to happen.

So if you are having a really crappy monday and thinking that Friday will never come, it will come, just not yet, because you have the rest of the week to experience new things, and try out new activities. Life is a beautiful thing and never wish it away.

Just remember that word, YET

What courageous words have you been loving? What has been keeping you motivated?

Looking Back Into 2013...

Hello everyone!

I know that 2013 was quite a while ago now, but I was looking through those oh so embarrassing photos on Facebook, and I couldn't not share with you all some of my highlights from this past year. This past year has seriously been one of the craziest and best years I have ever had, including so many memories that I will never forget. Here is a little collage to show you all :).

What are your most memorable moments of 2013?

MAC | Brush Cleanser

Hello everyone!

Just a little note before I begin my review. I have misplaced my camera and as a result I have to use my phone camera. However, when I tried putting the photo onto my laptop to show you guys, it didn't bleeding work. Goodness sake. I promise guys that I will get it sorted for my next review/post.

Anyway, push away the bad stuff, I have a review. Yay! I love trying out new things and providing new reviews for you all so that you can try these products too. The review I am going to be giving you all is about the MAC Brush Cleanser, and I am seriously impressed.

Until this bottle of goodness fell into my hands, I didn't think washing my makeup brushes seemed like a big deal. I just got on with using them how they were and let the dreams of having clean brushes pass by.

Alas! I gained this little stunner and I have never seen cleaner brushes. Honestly. One teeny little drop is all you need, and you brush feels brand new. This cleanser also contains conditioner, which will keep your bristles soft, and it will also prevent them from falling out.

This brush cleanser is a stealer at only £10.00 which I think is absolutely amazing for a product this good. You can find that HERE if you are interested in purchasing.

This cleanser also works for any size brush that you intend on cleaning. It doesn't damage the root of the brush either, so even if you get a little bit of cleanser in the root, it will not cause the bristles to fall out. I highly recommend this product, and even though this my first ever brush cleaner, I think I have found the one.

What do you guys think? What are your favourite brush cleansers? What do you recommend?
